The Journey to Finding Myself

There are journeys we take with a packed bag and a train ticket — and then there are journeys we take within ourselves. My journey to finding myself wasn’t something I had planned. It began quietly, through small moments of confusion, failure, silence, and reflection.

I used to believe that “finding yourself” was about changing everything around me — new people, new places, new habits. But I’ve come to understand that it’s more about noticing what was already inside me, waiting to be heard. It’s about slowing down in a fast world, questioning what I truly want, and learning to be okay with not having all the answers.

This journey isn’t a straight road. There are days when I feel lost again. But even in those moments, I now carry a deeper awareness of who I am — not the roles I play or the expectations I carry, but the real me beneath it all.

If you are also walking your own path of self-discovery, here’s a reminder: it’s okay to pause, to fall, and to begin again. Every step — even the unsure ones — is part of the process. You don’t have to find yourself all at once. Sometimes, simply being yourself in a world that tells you to be something else is the bravest thing you can do.
