Understanding TOXIC PARENTING : A Simple Look

Parenting is one of the most important roles in life. A good parent gives love, care, and guidance. But sometimes, parenting can turn toxic without the parent even realizing it.

Toxic parenting happens when a parent’s behavior hurts the child emotionally, mentally, or even physically. This includes shouting all the time, always criticizing, making the child feel guilty, or not allowing them to express their feelings. Children raised in such an environment often grow up with low self-esteem, anxiety, or fear. They may always feel like they are “not good enough.” This can affect their studies, friendships, and even their future relationships.

It’s important to remember that no parent is perfect. Mistakes happen. But toxic parenting becomes a serious problem when the same negative behavior happens again and again without any effort to change. Parents should listen to their children, support them, and allow them to grow into confident individuals. Respect, communication, and love are the real tools of parenting not control or fear.
