 The last message from the future 


          When I walked past the table , I saw an envelope on it . It looked quite mysterious . it was a letter , when I picked it up in my hands , I noticed it had no sender's name on it . I opened it with excitement and I was curious to know what's inside but when I opened it , a bold heading stared back at me . 


" To the people of 2025 " .......

                            You people are hurting the earth alot , knowingly or unknowingly.  What you do will come back to you no matter what . In years to come , you will struggle to breathe fresh air . Days will come when fresh air will be sold in markets like gold . One by one ,  you will stand in line, desperate to buy it .

When you decorate your house by cutting down trees and destroying nature , you have no idea the future holds for you.

 The sky's blue is fading , stolen by the wound we've made.... the sea and oceans are drowning in waste struggling because of human deeds . As a result , there is no pure Water left to drink .

See this as your last chance and work for a better tomorrow. It is not too late , every decision you make today will shape the tomorrow you live in . Choose wisely, for the earth's fate lies in your hand .

 Social  media today  രാവിലെ കണ്ണു മെല്ലെ തുറന്നതോടെ കൈ ഫോൺ വച്ച ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് നീളുകയാണ്. WhatsApp തുറന്നു കുറെ നേരം പരതുന്നു. ശേഷം instgram il ഇട്ട സ്റ്റോറിക്കും മറ്റും ലൈക്കുകൾ വന്നതും ആരൊക്കെ കണ്ടു എന്നൊക്കെ നോക്കിയുമാണ് ദിവസം തുടങ്ങുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് ആ ദിവസം 6 ഓ അതിനു മുകളിലോ  സമയം ഫോണിൽ തന്നെ. സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ ഫോണിനെ അല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഫോൺ എന്നെയാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. മിക്കവരുടെയും അവസ്ഥ തന്നെ... പുറകോട്ട് ആലോചിച്ചു നോക്കിയാൽ വെറും time waste. ഫോൺ കയ്യിൽ വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് ആലോചിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് മാത്രം.! അപ്പോഴാണ് Insta യിൽ മറ്റൊരു reel കാണുന്നത്. സെൽ ഫോണിൻറെ ഉപജ്ഞാതാവായ Martin Cooper ന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ.            "You  should not be slave to your telephone.The technology is there to serve you,not the other way around." കണ്ടുപിടിച്ച ആൾ തന്നെയാണ് പറയുന്നത് എന്ന് ആലോചിക്കണം... സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ആലോചിക്കുന്ന വിഷയം കക്ഷി പണ്ടേ ഉറപ്പിച്ച കാര്യമാണ്. സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ലോകത്തെ പറ്റി ചിന്തിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുമോ..? ഒരിക്കലുമില്ല അ...
